30/January/2017 - Pleasant Monday

Although it was Monday today, it was quite a nice day.  This is because the Old Grump did NOT have to go to work today.  Hooray!!

Kuya had his piano lesson today.  Grump drove him to his lesson, and Dodong came along.

29/January/2017 - Sunday

This morning started off like most Sunday mornings, with the internet addicts sticking their faces into their iPads.

Sweetie had dressed the boys in matching outfits for church:

28/January/2017 - A Trip to H-Mart

Saturday is probably our favorite day.  Grump doesn't have to go to work, and since he also doesn't have to go to work tomorrow, we don't have to go to bed super-duper early.

In the morning Dodong played with his "new" iPad.  (This used to be Kuya's iPad, but since we bought Kuya a new one, now Dodong uses it.)

We decided that today we would take a trip to a local H-Mart, which is located in Riverdale, Georgia, (just a little south of Atlanta).  We like to make this trip for two reasons:

1.  Grump can take back roads to get there, so he doesn't get as stressed as he does driving on I-75 around Atlanta.

2.  There are several good restaurants nearby we can eat lunch at.  Today we chose to eat at the "Taste of Thailand" restaurant down the street in Jonesboro.  It was very yummy!

After lunch we headed up the road to H-Mart to do some shopping.

They have a fantastic selection of fruits and vegetables there.  Here are some examples.

You do need to watch your cart while shopping there, because you never know what may turn up in it!

Back home, everyone went back to browsing the internet on their electronic gadgets:

27/January/2017 - Blessed Friday!

Friday finally arrived!  Hooray!!

As soon as work was over Grump hopped into his car and drove all the way back home, to be with Sweetie, Kuya, Dodong, and Lola.

Meanwhile, back home, Sweetie and the boys were very busy:

As you might be able to see, all three of them were fussing with iPads or iPhones.  What a bunch of gadget addicts!

It was just another work day for Old Grump, who was marooned in Columbus, Georgia.  Being separated from the rest of the family is no fun!

It was another mid-workweek hump day in Columbus, as Grump struggled to stay awake and employed.

The sun finally came back today, although it was still chilly outside.
