Dodong went riding today.

First he rode on his "horse", who was none other than Sweetie.

Grr ......

Look out everyone!  Grump's on the loose!

Why is he so grumpy?  You'd be grumpy too if you were stuck in Columbus, Georgia on this otherwise beautiful hump day.

Why do we have to work anyway?  Work sucks!  Down with jobs!  Down with corporations!

Since it was a workday, Grump was stranded in Columbus, Georgia again.  Having nothing better to do, he walked around at lunchtime, taking silly pictures such as this one:

The exciting event of the day was that Sweetie painted her toenails.  Woo hoo!  Sexy, huh?

01/May/2017 - Tim to the Rescue!

On this icky, somewhat rainy back-to-work Monday, Mr. Tim came over to our house to fix a mess Old Grump had made.  It seems that he had hung some planters for Sweetie on an external wall, (into that accursed masonite siding), but he didn't do it properly, and several of them had fallen out.

Mr. Tim came over and rehung the planters, doing it right this time by fastening them into a wooden stud.

The planters look wonderful once more!

Hooray for Mr. Tim!  Now Sweetie's flowers can be "airborne" again!

30/April/2017 - Church, Finally!

It seems like FOREVER since we've been to church, so this morning we made sure to attend.

Sweetie looked very nice in her brown dress and fancy shoes.

Both the boys were sleepy in church.  Dodong fell asleep!

Back home after church, Dodong got busy and built a nice fort with the sofa cushions.

29/April/2017 - Quiet Saturday

It was a quiet Saturday.  Uncomfortably quiet.  Sweetie and Grump had been bickering a bit over the cost of the upcoming trip for the family to the Philippines, and it put a bit of a pall on things.

But have no fear ...... Kuya did take a selfie!

Next Saturday Dodong, Kuya, Sweetie, and Lola will all be taking off in an airplane to go to the Philippines.  Now that the trip is imminent, Sweetie and Grump are feeling a bit nervous about it.  But we shouldn't be.  God will take care of us.

After a long week in Columbus, Grump finally back home tonight.

I suppose the exciting event of the day was "dressing" up Sweetie.  I particularly like her Barney hat.
