| An Old Man and His Dinner |
Old Grump was in a tense meeting until nearly 5:30 pm, because his client made some last minute changes to the requirements of the project he is working on.
But that was not why it was a rough day. It was a rough day because Sweetie had to deal with two gigantic messes.
The first one started when she went to Panera to buy some macaroni and cheese for Kuya. As you may remember from yesterday, Kuya was ill, (strep throat), and on antibiotics, so when he said he wanted to eat some mac-and-cheese Sweetie was happy to oblige him. So off to Panera she went to buy him some food, which she then brought back home for him. However, once back home she discovered that instead of mac-and-cheese, they had given her broccoli soup! Yuck!! She put the soup down on the kitchen table, then went to get her car keys so she could drive back to Panera and return the soup. But no sooner did she leave the kitchen than Dodong ran in, spotted the soup, and before anyone could react, picked it up and threw it into the air, sending the soup all across the kitchen floor!
No sooner had Sweetie recovered from that mess than Kuya, who was lying down in the bedroom, announced that his tummy felt sick. Sweetie rushed him into the bathroom just in time to have him copiously vomit all over the bathroom floor, soiling a floor mat in the process.
Everybody has their weaknesses, and Sweetie is no exception. While she is a very tough lady, having grown up in the jungles of the Philippines, for some reason she can not tolerate the odor of vomit. Thank God Lola was here to clean up that mess, or Sweetie may have barfed too!

Doing anything well requires skill, so of course I would answer "yes". 38% of respondents agreed with me, but 40% believe that it isn't all that difficult. (To which I say, "Okay, go try it then!") Fortunately only 22% thought that no skill was required.
2. Do you cry easily?
Yep. Take me to some stupid chick flick, and the tears will be flowing in no time at all. And I'm a guy!
However, it appears that most of y'all are more cold hearted, because 62% of you answered "No". Jeez ..... have a heart folks!
3. Would you rather eat a gallon of mayonnaise or one live scorpion?
Well, since I've seen YouTube videos of a guy who had to go to the hospital after eating a COOKED scorpion, (reaction to some venom, I suppose), mayonnaise is my choice. (And I can even spell it now!) But 42% of you are willing to risk sickness and/or death and munch on a live scorpion. Good luck!
