It started out okay. At lunchtime Grump went for a walk along the Chattahoochee River Walk again, once again taking too many pics. (Which once again are posted online: http://planetarypics.blogspot.com/2016/10/columbus-georgia-phenix-city-alabama.html.)
Here are a few samples:
The excitement of the day occurred back home. Sweetie had a doctor's appointment, and brought Lola, Kuya, and Dodong with her. Unfortunately the strawberries that Kuya had been eating all morning must have been bad, because on the way to the appointment he barfed. And barfed, and barfed, and barfed! The poor guy retched until his sides hurt!
Dodong quickly followed, and began vomiting too! Soon the backseat of the car was coated with vomit!
Now you need to understand two things:
1. Vomit makes Sweetie sick to the stomach, and causes her to retch.
2. She still had to go to her doctor's appointment.
So ..... quickly cleaning up the worst of the barf as best she could, and swallowing down her own barf, (yuck!), Sweetie went ahead to her appointment while poor Lola, Kuya, and Dodong sat in the horribly stinky car. (Ugh!!)
Once back home Sweetie and Lola were able to clean up the boys, then clean up the car. But now she had no carseat for Dodong, and no booster seat for Kuya.

It was quickly decided that, in light of this disaster, that Old Grump should make the long drive back home for the evening, if for no other reason than to give Sweetie some moral support. So he did.
Once Grump got home, and gobbled down a quick dinner, he and Sweetie went shopping. (What better way to relax, huh?) They both got a pair of sweatpants at Belks for the walk they will be attending Saturday, and to use in the future at the gym.
And Grump even got into bed early!
