2016/Apr/08 - Home!

After another day at work, Grump made the long drive home.  He arrived safe and sound, (I can't vouch for "sane"!), and now we are all back together again, at least for a few days.  Hooray!!

To give Lola and Sweetie a break, Grump watched the boys while the ladies went to Bible study for a few hours after dinner.  Whilst the ladies gossiped ...... er, I mean studied the Bible, Grump, Kuya, and Dodong watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas" one more time, because the video they rented for the evening wouldn't play in our crappy DVD player.

Watching Jack Skellington goof up, clean up his mistake, then finally realize what is important in life, (or I guess in his case, death), has become something of a routine for us.  

Actually we're becoming somewhat rabid Tim Burton fans.  Kuya constantly asks if Tim Burton has made other movies, and Old Grump fondly remembers watching "Pee-wee's Big Adventure", "Edward Scissorhands", "Batman", "Batman Returns", "Mars Attacks", "Big Fish", and "Sleepy Hollow".  I suppose we're gonna have to purchase DVDs of these movies for the kids to enjoy too.
