2016/Apr/13 - Briefly Home

After the fireworks last night, both Sweetie and Grump decided that it would be a good idea if Grump made the long drive home after work, which he did.  Fortunately he had a quiet day at work, and it was beautiful, so neither his job nor the drive stressed him too badly.

Once home, he and Sweetie ordered six extra-large pizzas for Kuya's birthday party at school tomorrow.  We all hope his party is a good one.

One of the lessons of life is to appreciate beauty wherever you can find it.  At the apartment complex where Grump is sleeping on a co-worker's living room floor, there are some very pretty rose bushes:

Old Grump has a long, long drive into work tomorrow morning, and since he needs to crawl into bed soon we had best wrap this up.
