Happy Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
In honor of this day, and the horrible events that arose from the Pearl Harbor attack, please pray for the health of a very nice young woman who has been helping with Kuya's piano lessons. She has already been fighting cancer, and now has to have open heart surgery. And she is not even 30 years old yet!
Oh ..... and by the way, she's Japanese.
It was a back to work Monday for Grump, and a back to school Monday for Kuya. But it wasn't a normal morning, as Kuya immediately noticed something was amiss: Squeak Elf had NOT flown off to the North Pole last night! After pondering this issue for a while, we all more-or-less arrived to the same conclusion. Squeak Elf had stayed at our house because he did not want to report to Santa how awfully Grump had misbehaved just before bedtime. He had been very rude and disrespectful to Sweetie, so if Santa found this out he may just take back Grump's Christmas presents!
However, bad behavior still has consequences, and Grump found himself without a lunch today. So he and Sweetie met at Panera for lunch.

A Less Grumpy Grump |
Dinner was interesting. Grump and Kuya had the wonderful Chocolate Chicken dish that Sweetie cooks, while she and Lola suffered through some dreadful dried fish. (Okay, they both really like it, but Grump and Kuya think it is gross, and smells disgusting!)
Yum Yum! Dried Fish! |
Would You Consider This a Decent Meal? |
