Of course a day wouldn't start out right without Kuya playing MineCraft on the iPad first thing in the morning!

Whilst waiting for everyone to get ready, Grump went outside and harvested some passionflower fruits from his passionflower vines. The native species of passionflower here in the southeastern USA is Passiflora incarnata, and its fruits, while not as yummy as those of the tropical Passiflora edulis, are very, very good. (Well, at least Grump thinks so!) The Venerable Green Dean even has a YouTube video about them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmDqWSwbU7A .

On the way to H Mart, we had a most pleasant surprise. We stopped at a restaurant, "Taste of Thailand", and had a most delicious lunch!

Seriously, this is one of the better Thai restaurants we've eaten at, and the reviews on Yelp are almost all highly positive. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you're ever in the area give it a try, and I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Finally we arrived at H Mart!!
We loaded up on yummy fruits and veggies, then got back in the car to drive back home. But ..... on the way home we had to stop at the panaderia!

As we drove home, Grump stopped the car every now and then to take a "scenic photo". While maybe interesting, (or maybe not!), I don't think his photos are very "scenic".
The drive to H Mart actually serves two purposes. Besides getting yummy fruits and veggies, it gives the perpetually exhausted Sweetie a rare opportunity to get some rest, as both boys are restrained and sitting with her in the back seat.

The final activity of our day was a little bit more food shopping, this time at Kroger.

Peace!
