Well ..... at least it would have been "Hooray!", except that Sweetie was ill. And as y'all know, if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!
Of course, Kuya continued his school work unabated, even if in his pajamas.

For some reason Sweetie has begun to let them stay dressed in their sleeping clothes until lunchtime. Grump would love to stay in his bedtime clothes too, but since he sleeps "au natural", I don't think that would be appreciated by anyone!
Speaking of Grump ....... since it was Friday today, he of course drove home. Unfortunately he also chose today to lecture Sweetie about our spending, which since the beginning of the year has caused a huge drawdown on our savings. (How much? Now, since Sweetie was already feeling poorly, this went over like a lead balloon. Sweetie was ill AND upset once Grump arrived back home, and her mood did not improve even when we went to bed.
Let's hope that a good night's sleep eases everyone's sour feelings!
