28/June/2017 - Oh No! A Critter!!

If you've been following these posts, you probably know that we have some pretty nice gardens that Lola tends to back home in Macon.  She grows corn, string beans, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, okra, camote, (sweet potatoes), squash, and several types of Filipino veggies that are unknown to me.

She waters her gardens at least every other day, and watches like a hawk for bugs and other pests.  (Tomato hornworms are smashed on sight!)

So imagine our consternation when, this morning, an uninvited critter meandered into our yard:

A Small, Mobile, Plant Destroying Machine
It wasn't just any critter; it was a RABBIT!

We sure don't need no "wascally wabbits" munching on our tender garden plants!  Lola shooed it away, but it may be back.  Grump will have to lay down an extra layer of "Liquid Fence" when he gets home this weekend.

Grrr ..... first deer, now rabbits are seeking to make a meal in our gardens.  I wonder what is next?

Peace!
