2016/September/06 - Back to Work

It was a rough Tuesday.  Old Grump had to get up before sunrise and drive in to work after a holiday weekend.  Ugh.

To give y'all a feeling for the desolation Grump must struggle with every morning, here is a pic:

Okay, so it's not really all that bad, all things considered.  Certainly not like being stranded in the middle of the Sahara desert, or, God forbid, in Antarctica.

Besides, Grump has Sweetie there with him to wish him a safe journey every time he leaves, so just how bad can this be?

The rest of the day was ..... well, Grump struggled through work, and Kuya struggled with his schoolwork.

Poor Sweetie is having a really rough time getting Kuya to bear down and concentrate on his studies.  He is totally fixated on these "Stampy Cat" videos on YouTube, and quite honestly has been a fawning devotee of that channel for several months now.  Sweetie gets so frustrated that she threatens to take away his iPad, (which was actually a birthday gift to Grump a few years ago, but that's a different story), but she never does.

While Kuya immerses himself in the world of Minecraft movies, Dodong has been watching all sorts of "finger family" videos on Sweetie's iPhone.  Sweetie really, really, really wants Grump to buy another iPad so she can have her iPhone back, but we already can't pay the bills we have, so how are we gonna pay more?
