2016/September/09 - .... And Back Home Again!

Friday finally rolled around again, so after what seemed to be a very long work week, (but was actually a short work week, thanks to the Labor Day holiday), Grump was finally able to make the long drive home for the weekend.

The day itself was largely uneventful.  Grump and his roommate, the Venerable Watson, survived another morning without stabbing each other.  (ALWAYS an accomplishment for two grumpy old men!)

After lunch, (some yummy spaghetti Sweetie had made and frozen for him), Grump snacked on some yummy pickled green papaya she had just made this past weekend:

Once Grump FINALLY got home from work, all of us went to the Riverside Mall for a yummy dinner at La Parilla's, then we walked about the mall for a bit, to help walk off some of the food.  (Yeah, we overate again!)
