05/May/2017 - Preparing for the Philippines

The Old Grump was home from work today, (even if he did have to work a half-day in the morning), but that wasn't the exciting news.  The "big deal" of the day was preparing for everyone else's imminent trip to the Philippines.

Tomorrow we will all awaken early, drive to the Atlanta airport, then Lola, Sweetie, Kuya, and Dodong will board an airplane to begin their long, long flight to the other side of the world, their final destination being the Cebu airport.

Grump and Sweetie are both tense right now, full of anticipation and concern.  It will be an interesting trip!
