2016/July/09 - H Mart

Saturday!  Hooray!!

First thing this morning the Old Grump went outside and took some pics of Sweetie and Lola's beautiful plants and flowers.

The two of them have done a GREAT job with our gardens this year, not just with all the pretty blooms, but also with eggplant, tomatoes, green beans, and okra.  Hooray for Sweetie and Lola!

In the afternoon we decided to take a drive to H Mart up in Riverdale, a suburb of Atlanta.  Since Grump didn't want to drive on I-75 anywhere remotely close to the big city, (and who can blame him, as traffic there has been a nightmare recently!), we decided to leisurely wind our way up highway 41. It took longer to get there, but it was a much more pleasant trip, if not just for the fact we didn't have to listen to Grump bitching and moaning about traffic.

Like the Buford Highway Farmers Market, (which is actually a bit nicer, but on the wrong side of Atlanta from where we live), H Mart has all sorts of cool fruits and veggies.

Kuya and some jackfruit

All kinds of interesting mushrooms

They have a pretty good Korean restaurant there where we got some lunch.  (I like the Chinese place better, but Sweetie and Lola wanted Korean food.)

Lunch!

After eating we paid for our goodies, jammed everything into the trunk, then meandered back down highway 41 until we got home.

Fruits and Veggies jammed into our trunk.  (We had even more inside the car with us!)

Peace!
